BANK – Health Care Assistant

Blakelands Hospital is a freestanding day case (ambulatory surgery) hospital. We are part of the internationally renowned Ramsay Health Care Group who believe in the value of day case surgery. As well as two operating theatres, we have an outpatient, x-ray and physio department focussing on ophthalmic, orthopaedic, Gastroenterology, Breast and general surgery. We are located centrally in Milton Keynes, easily accessible to Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire with free parking on site. There is a direct train link to London. As a day surgery, we offer family friendly hours with no night duty.

The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated Outpatients department. Working as part of a team working alongside our Nurses & Consultants to deliver the best patient care. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine compassion and care for individuals and are keen to develop their skills. Previous experience in care is desirable however not essential as full support and training will be offered. An NVQ level 2 or 3 in care would be advantageous however at this time we can support you with your training needs. Attention to detail is key with the ability to stay calm and be practical in challenging situations.
