We have a new role with our Edinburgh based Structured Transaction & Loan Management (ST&LM) team who manage our Commercial Banking securitised assets portfolio. Our team sits within the Portfolio Management area of Client Products, which optimises the allocation of capital and liquidity to enable the delivery of the Commercial Banking strategy.
Core Purpose of the Role
What we're looking for
As an Associate in the securitisation team, you'll have sound partner management skills thereby facilitating successful working relationships to support the ongoing management of existing transactions and in the delivery of new transactions and initiatives.
You'll bring strong excel skills with an analytical background, high attention to detail and accuracy.
A solid understanding of Visual Basic for Applications (“VBAâ€) is preferred or as a minimum a strong desire to focus on this as a key development area.
Prior understanding of securitisation is not a requirement however knowledge of loan origination, risk ratings and underlying source systems (e.g. ACBS, RED, and M4V would be beneficial).
You'll be a motivated and hardworking colleague with a passion for collaboration, innovation and driving improvement.
A self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple outputs, working at times under pressure and to meet tight contractual timelines, individually and as part of a team.
A proactive approach to work with good business awareness which supports the delivery of a high quality service to internal and external partners.
