Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Law degree (LLB) or equivalent practical experience.
• Qualified solicitor, with experience in private practice or in an in-house team.
• Experience in developing, drafting, and advising clients on commercial and technology contracts, including multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in the financial technology, payments, or financial services sector.
• Experience with advising on payment-related regulatory issues in the UK and EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Consult on a wide range of commercial agreements and maintain templates that comply with company policies and local law.
• Develop expertise in a range of Google products relating to Payments and build robust relationships with business clients in our various EMEA and US offices.
• Advise senior management, business clients, and US Legal teams on various aspects of English law.
• Advise on legal issues and risks, complex agreement structures, and company policies.
