About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Cyber Security Operations to join our high performing and collaborative team on an ongoing basis.
Reporting into the Chief Information Security Officer, the Associate Director, Cyber Security Operations will provide direction and support to a team responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring and reporting of Cyber Security activities for DPC, Ministerial staff and the cluster.
You will be involved in:
Leading the implementation and monitoring of DPC cyber security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Managing the security monitoring of DPC IT infrastructure and systems; including conducting audits, reviews, and assessments, and managing relevant remediation processes, to ensure that cyber risks are identified and appropriate treatment plans are implemented.
Managing and coordinating the response to cyber security incidents and relevant operational changes to ensure that constantly changing cyber security threats and vulnerabilities are effectively addressed.

You. Our Ideal Candidate
Will have demonstrated experience in IT information security.
Will have relevant tertiary qualifications in information management or equivalent knowledge and substantial experience in the IT industry.
Will be required to obtain and maintain a baseline .
Will operate with a high level of authority in respect to exercising professional judgement on a range of issues.
Will have well developed organisation skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure, high volume environment with tight deadlines.
Will have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide accurate, clear and comprehensive advice in short time frames.
