The Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery safe house is an accommodation service accommodating victims of Modern Slavery who are being supported through the National Referral Mechanism. Our aim is to support these individuals during their recovery and reflection period in order to assist them transitioning from victim to survivor. The support provided to our residents is tailored according to their needs and as such is very person centred concentrating primarily of the individual’s wellbeing. The Project supports primarily male adult victims of Modern Slavery and supports individuals of all nationalities, faiths and sexual orientation.
Overall Purpose of the role:
For services which accommodate clients who require catering facilities the role of catering staff is essential. The Cook has a vital role to play. You will work with the catering team to ensure that the service meets all contractual and legislative requirements, especially in respect of health and safety regulations. The food presented will be appetising and nutritional recognising standards and cost.
