To be a successful studio AP on Blue Peter, you’ll have flair for coming up with factual entertainment ideas. You’ll be able to develop and pitch features on a weekly basis, creating items that are innovative, entertaining, interactive and informative. You should be able to demonstrate a great understanding of and empathy for, the interests and passions of modern British children and be interested in a wide range of general subjects. You'll have excellent script writing skills and wide-ranging experience of scripting for studio items.
We are looking for an individual with substantial previous experience as an AP on a studio TV programme, with detailed scripting and production skills; and able to cast and work closely with talent contributors.
You will also have a proven experience of the following:

Contract type: FTC/attachment - 6th June 2022 to 13th January 2023
Location: MediaCity, Salford (with some remote working)
This role requires a relevant DBS check to be undertaken by the BBC at the appropriate level, at the point of offer of a contract of employment.
