PAK’nSAVE RANGIORA - PRODUCE ASSISTANT MANAGER

PAK’nSAVE Rangiora is looking for a retail professional who is driven to excel in the day to day running of our Produce Department.

Our Produce department thrives on delivering the best quality freshness of produce to our local community. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in delivering outstanding results in a retail environment.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator, have experience effectively managing people, driven by helping people exceed their expectations and driving an exceptional team culture.

We are looking for a person who is determined for that career path that will take them to the top of the retail game. The potential candidate will have the knowledge with the following attributes :

• Ordering and controlling and stock levels while maintaining the highest quality.
• Have some understanding of financial KPI’s.
• The desire to innovate and stay ahead of the competition.
• Have the ambition to be an inspiring and effective leader.
• Customer focused with the desire to surprise and delight.
• Hungry for experience similar to running your own business.

This role will consistently ensure Food Safety standards are maintained through completion of appropriate daily, weekly and monthly records.

This includes being able to apply key tasks such as stock rotation, directing a team and have a good eye for quality control.

There is an expectation of 100% price integrity in the department through maintenance of appropriate signage and pricing.

This is a Full-time position working a permanent 40 hour week, Tuesday to Saturday 6am - 2 : 30pm. Position involves a weekend shift and may also include early and late starts.

Pre-employment Drug screening will be required as the criteria of the application process.
