Job description

· Assisting the Mechanic and ensuring that the regular preventive maintenance activities for all mechanical equipment on the rig occur in a timely manner to prevent down time. 

· Ensuring the efficient and continual functioning of the mechanical equipment on board.

· Assisting the Mechanic with major repairs ensuring that fuel and oil transfers from the water vessel are performed following procedures.

· Assessing, maintaining and lubricating machinery to keep it running efficiently.

· Testing equipment to ensure its operating correctly.

· Ordering tools and replacement parts as and when required.

Job requirements

Candidates must have previous offshore experience and hold the following certificates: BOSIET/FOET, CA-EBS, MIST, OGUK Medical and Shoulder Measurements.
