Every Harrods kitchen has a unique flavour and, as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be right at the centre of things, directing our service and inspiring a talented hospitality team to create magic and memorable experiences for every customer, every day. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for running the assigned restaurant effectively, maintaining high service standards and maximising sales by leading and motivating the FOH & BOH Restaurant Team deputising for the manager.

Key priorities

•  Consistently review and analyse sales; and take corrective action where necessary.

• Actively monitor competitor activity and feedback on any trends and new developments within the industry to the Restaurant Manager

• Assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure budgets are met and profits are maximised

• Flex & manage FOH payroll according to trade levels & budgeted pay to sales

About you

The ideal Assistant Restaurant Manager would have experience working in a fast paced, high volume restaurant operation, as well as the following:

• Hands-on approach

• Have an eye for details

• Have excellent customer service skills

• Commercially aware with deliverable KPIs

• Inspiring leader and motivator with people management skills and experience

• Have previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager
