Where you’ll be working
Lake Cargelligo Multipurpose Service is a rural and remote facility situated on the northern edge of MLHD.
With a busy 2 bed ED, 6 acute flexible beds are also used for palliative care and respite along with 16 aged care beds.
Community Health is right next door, providing a range of outpatient services including: community nursing, allied health services, D&A & mental health, child and family health and Aboriginal health services.
The Multipurpose Service is situated minutes from the beautiful large lake that the town is settled on the staff accommodation is either onsite or across the road from the facility. The team at Lake are passionate, community minded, caring and supportive of each other. They welcome new people with open arms and a big smile.

About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support the nursing team, both Enrolled and Registered, in acute care and aged care environments.
Receiving direction, guidance and monitoring from the Registered Nurse, you will retain responsibility for your own actions but remain accountable to the RN for all allocated tasks.
