Watson Evans are working with an organisation who are looking to bring on board an Assistant Accountant as soon as possible. The role is available on a temporary basis in the first instance, and is expected to last for a minimum of 3 months. There is a strong possibility that it will be extended beyond this point and could well become permanent. 

The rate of pay offered is likely to be between £14 and £16 per hour (or an annual salary between £25,000 and £30,000). The role is for 37.5 hours per week, and as they are set up for remote working, could either accomodate someone wanting to work fully remotely or on a hybrid basis. 

Their office is based close to Plymouth and the ability to attend the office on occasion would be welcomed. 

You'll be working under the guidance of a Finance Manager and will be joining a small finance team. The role can be moulded to suit your particular skill set and is expected to include a mixture of sales/purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, assisting with month/year end, some management and project accounting, payroll and expenses. 

Experience of using Sage and Excel would also be beneficial.
