In this role you are part of the new Arms Safety and Control business unit. This organisation is the arms regulator in New Zealand. It is an exciting time to be joining this organisation which is transforming in line with the new arms legislation and regulations. We are looking for strong operational leaders to support our team in districts.  You will be leading a team in the district who are focused on meeting all our service elements. You will be focused on driving the KPIs across these service portfolios. Focusing on building a regulator culture within our teams.

 Key Accountabilities:

• Drive KPI's, improving and exceeding against targets
• Focusing on process improvements
• Ensure a consistent approach to resolving complex problems
• Ensuring scheduling and flow of work is being effectively managed considering the geography
• Supporting high performing teams
• Proactively identifying and managing risks
• A key liaison with external stakeholders
