The Company:
FIL is a well-established Farm supplier of Animal Health and Hygiene products across New Zealand. With their flagship product of Tail Paint holding 95% of the market share, Farmers are now well-aware of the FIL brand and additional product range.
The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity for a candidate with a passion for the agriculture sector selling direct to Dairy Farms. It’s about building trusted relationships with an honest, open approach while learning their animal Health and Hygiene requirements.
FIL is focused on reducing Mastitis and lowering SCC, you will be upskilled in this area to help customers. You also need to be comfortable in a dairy shed and around cows.
The Area:
There are 400 farms in Matamata and Putaruru, therefore ideally you would be from this area, but we'd consider applications from the greater Waikato. The current area manager has transferred to another territory, he will introduce and support the successful candidate into this field-based role.
You will be meeting around 5 plus clients per day to build on their FIL product range, 80% of these clients are within 40 mins drive of Rotorua or Cambridge therefore you will live in the region.
The Person:
The right person would be someone who has worked on Dairy Farms and understands the importance of the right hygiene products. You will have a customer focus by doing the best for the farmer and promote the FIL range.
You could also be from any Territory or Account Management or Sales / Retail type position. It’s about your ability to build trusted relationships
