Our client is a boutique firm located in the North Shore that specialises in remedial projects working with Fire, Structural, Façade, and Service Engineers to produce final detailed designs. However due to growth they are now also providing New Build designs for clients. 

To this end, they are looking for a talented intermediate Architectural Technician/Designer to join their team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Renovation or remediation experience, with an understanding of residential projects.
• Be able to prepare and submit building and resource consent applications.
• Good understanding of New Zealand’s construction practices and methods, and are able to translate this into detailed design drawings.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Relevant University qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Comprehensive ArchiCAD experience.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of New Zealand building regulations and codes is required
• Have a good technical background combined with a desire to learn and a “can do” attitude.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management is essential to meet deadlines.
• Valid New Zealand Driver’s license
