Customer Operations brings together Customer Service and Operations Delivery and has been created as part of the Sydney Trains Transformation Program. Integrating the two areas will enhance collaboration and ensure that we work seamlessly to deliver memorable customer journeys each and every day, both now and into the future.

 

The opportunity

 

12 month fixed-term contract

Part-time job share: Wed, Thurs and Fri

 

The Support Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation of Customer Information applications  and products and ensuring releases will not impact Sydney Trains provision of information to Customers.

 

The main responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:

 

Lead a team of staff to develop, implement and maintain systems and processes that facilitate a timely response to all faults related to Customer Information system issues.

Provide escalated business critical system support including providing out of hours support on a rostered on-call basis.

Build and foster strong productive stakeholder relationships.

About you

 

You will have previous experience in a similar role in a complex environment where you have been responsible for managing high performing teams and conflicting priorities.

 

Selection Criteria:

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent demonstrated experience in IT in a large complex customer service environment

 

Salary and benefits

 

The salary for this position is pro rate at RC7 ($143,555-$157,945) plus superannuation and leave loading.
