About the Position

As a Product Manager on the Outlook Application Platform team, you will be responsible for services that powers the Outlook ecosystem and enables the Outlook clients and experiences to work seamlessly together at a very large scale, providing an effortless experience for users to stay focused, connected, and on top of what matters most as they travel across devices and platforms.

You will help drive important components of our platform modernization and innovation acceleration at large scale. You will be in lockstep with engineering and partner PMs, seeing modern service architecture from inception through delivery and in-market support.

We’re looking for a highly motivated Product Manager who is passionate about reimagining the future of communications and time management through the power of modern service architecture:

• Drive planning, development, and deployment of some services to support the Outlook ecosystem
• Help scale those services reach hundreds of millions of users across a wide range of Outlook clients and experiences.
• Leverage data and developer/customer feedback and translate this into a clear plan with roadmap and specs.
• Engage with partners to understand their scenarios & requirements, and work with them to design E2E services solutions that deliver great developer & customer experiences across the platform.
• Deeply understand the needs of Outlook users who will be relying on your services.

Qualifications

• Computer Science (or similar) background or experience
• 2+ years of experience as Product Manager and/or Software Engineer
• Experience building and delivering on roadmaps
• Deep customer empathy and ability to identify customer needs
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and cross group skills
• Growth mindset: Curiosity, a desire to learn, self-motivation to explore new ideas, a tendency to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and find inspiration in the success of others
