Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience manipulating datasets (e.g., Sheets and SQL).
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers’ marketing departments analytical/measurement functions.
  • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, etc.), automation techniques (e.g., Javascript, Python, etc.), and statistical principles (e.g., significance, regression, etc.),
  • Ability to take quantities and sources of data and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Ability to flex communication styles and influence diverse audiences.

The Advanced Planning Team (APT) is a group of Strategic Communications Planning and Analytical Specialists within the Video and Display Sales Team. You will work closely with sales teams, market insights, marketing, agency teams and many others to drive long-term growth for YouTube, Display and Video products.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own analytical component of Pre-Sales projects from production through to commercialization.
  • Collaborate with communication planners on critical vertical and/or country-level sales materials and strategies that raise skill set of insight led pitching.
  • Create and deliver trainings to enable large customer sales to lead their pitches with insight.
  • Discover new insight sources mapped to priority YouTube/Video and Display products
