We have an opportunity for one Analyst and two Senior Analysts to join our Macroeconomic & Fiscal Policy team. In these roles, you will have a significant opportunity to influence and help shape the macroeconomic policy agenda, including providing advice to the Minister of Finance. You will be surrounded by a team full of passionate and curious individuals and have a front row seat to what is happening in the New Zealand economy.
Our team is leading significant pieces of work and these roles provide an opportunity to lead or contribute to a number of projects, depending on the skills of the successful applicants. Our work programme is busy and fast changing, as we respond to developments in the economy. While the exact split of responsibilities will depend on the successful candidates, the roles are expected to cover the following areas:

To be successful, you will be:
For the Senior Analyst position you will have at least five years' experience working on complex policy problems. This may include leading the development of policy advice to Ministers or leading complex analytical projects. For the Analyst position we are looking for somebody with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a policy or economics role.
