JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an Analyst – Capital Assets to work in our Finance and Accounting Department located in London, Ontario.  This motivated and results oriented individual will be working in a very busy corporate and fixed asset department; liaise with operations and deliver results according to deadlines. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Analyst – Fixed Assets.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Analyst – Capital Assets, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

• Complete various reports, forecasting and calculations regarding RFPs, contract extensions and rebids
• Review Legal Contracts for various locations
• Complete analysis and queries as required by operations
• Complete period end reporting
• Process lease entries and balance related balance sheet accounts
• Analyze contract obligation accounts
• Ability to handle tight time schedule, posses excellent time management skills and willing to work overtime when required
• Involved in other duties and special projects as assigned

• Currently enrolled in accounting designation program is preferred 
• Accounting Degree or Diploma required
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment  
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of professional interaction with various levels of operations and other department managers
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented and willingness to delve into problem in order for successful issue resolution
• Able to work overtime when required
