About this role

You’ll be responsible for setting up and running a migrations function for major customer(s).  You will work closely with Communications Providers to establish their migrations needs and ensure that Openreach functions are set up to deliver in the required timescales. 

You will ensure that mitigation strategies are agreed with customers to manage issues that may occurring during migrations. You will also input into IP strategy and policy as part of a central team working to safely to migrate customers to the new platform in the way that best serves Openreach’s commercial and strategic interests.

You\'ll have the following responsibilities

  • Creating, owning and driving a clear plan to show how your customer(s) will successfully migrate its base from legacy to strategic IP products recognizing the risks and areas of focus required from both customer(s) and Openreach to ensure success
  • Inputting into Openreach Ip strategy and policy to help ensure it drives successful migration off legacy products
  • Working with Business managers to ensure CPs have a complete data inventory and migration plans in place
  • Tracking CP migration progress and tracking progress against plan
  • Developing suitable reporting to capture CP progress
  • Working across Openreach to remove any barriers to migration success
  • Ensuring that migration customer experience principles are maximised to meet or exceed customer satisfaction metrics and self-serve principles
  • Ensuring that learning is captured though the programme lifecycle to inform the National programme
  • Developing and nurturing good customer relationships in order to support the National programme and other footprints
  • Supporting the production of business cases when necessary

  • Excellent customer and relationship management skills, acting as an ambassador for Openreach with experience of creating industry momentum, engagement and market demand for new products   
  • Skilled at Meeting Customer needs
  • Strategic thinker
  • Project management Experience
  • Forecasting skills and knowledge
