Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) Auckland are looking for a full time registered AOD clinician to work in our Altered High Regional Youth Service based in Kingsland, Auckland

CADS are the largest Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD) service in New Zealand working with over 15000 people each year. CADS provide free community and inpatient AOD treatment from a number of locations across Auckland. CADS are committed to empowering the community to discover healthier use of substances (harm minimisation) and to promote recovery and wellbeing.
About the team
The CADS Altered High Youth Service is a vibrant and innovative service for young people from the age of 13 to 20 years who present in relation to alcohol and other drug issues. We provide a service that strives to maintain and improve quality, standards of clinical practice, community and professional relationships and networks, and supports the growth and development of staff. We are a mobile regional community team, based in Kingsland and a current driver’s licence is essential.
About you
We are currently looking for a full-time Clinician who will have a strong CEP (Co-existing Problems) focus. This role requires someone with the both AOD and mental health skills and proven CEP experience.
Are you are an experienced, youth and family focused Alcohol and Drug clinician with an interest in working collaboratively and in partnership with community services who would like to make a positive difference in the lives of others? We are looking for someone from an allied health background who has initiative and is highly motivated.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate a willingness and commitment to working in partnership with Maori and Pacific Island youth services and with a range of services and sectors such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health services, CYFS, Non-Government Organisations, Education and Justice.
