The Centralised Outsourcing Senior Psychologist provides the statewide management coordination and facilitation of the Student Support Services psychology outsourcing service, to ensure quality, evidence-informed, efficient, timely and accountable service provision. The Centralised Outsourcing Senior Psychologist works closely with the Business Support Officer, Team Manager, Principal Psychologist/s, outsourced psychologists, other Senior Psychologists, psychologists, preschool and school staff, and parents/guardians to meet organisational needs and objectives and facilitate access and participation in the curriculum for children and students with additional needs and disabilities. The role requires the provision of management, professional support, and development to outsourced psychologists with a focus on collaboratively building and maintaining professional and service delivery standards.
Qualifications
Essential - Current and full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia. Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
Desirable – Area of practice endorsement - educational and developmental psychology and/or clinical psychology and/or counselling psychology.

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
AHP3: $99,629 - $106,864 pa

Additional Note
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) short contract, starting ASAP until 30 June 2023. Highly flexible role:
Can be negotiated to be based at any Department for Education office;
Flexible hours and working arrangements can be negotiated.
