About this role

In this job, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, and embedding the Corporate Unit Digital Transformation program.

You’ll work with Senior Manager – Agile Delivery to drive high quality, frequent delivery of business outcomes at pace, to create the best experiences that enhance both our customers’ lives and colleague experiences.

 

You'll have the following responsibilities

Accountable for planning, leading, organising, and motivating agile teams to achieve an elevated level of performance and quality in line with programme standards.

You will also be responsible for removing blockers inter tribe, inter units to ensure the Corporate units deliver their Epics and Features delivery using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions.

Drive the visibility and status of delivery across the squads, Tribes, and leadership, including business value orientated progress, status of major release and key change against commitments including establishing forecast completion dates.

Conducts testing of processes against agreed specifications, corporate standards, architecture and methods, and makes recommendations for process / procedural improvement.

Improve the coordination across squads to deliver large scale technology development through technical releases to support quarterly Business Goals.

Work with the PO & Scrum Masters in identifying bottlenecks and reducing lead time from Idea to launch.

Responsible for managing agile teams on a daily basis or as required; assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organisational resources to improve capacity for project work; responsibility for ensuring team members track their time using the appropriate in-house system; and mentoring and developing team members.

Embed and drive data-driven delivery, including the identification of key metrics. Accountable for managing the Risk/Issue tracker and dependencies.

You'll have the following skills & experience

Be Agile: A solid understanding and thought leader of Lean Agile delivery practices with awareness of major frameworks (i.e., SAFe, Kanban) with the ability to lead collaborative Agile ways of working and effectively manage changing priorities.

Be Scaled: Experience in leading and optimising Agile delivery at scale across multiple teams, business units and geographies.

Problem Solving: Must be able lead and take ownership of proactively solving technical delivery problems end-to-end from ideation through to launch working across multiple platforms, impacting multiple services or cross Business areas.

Transformation: Be able to drive and manage long term changes and adapting the squad(s) in line with business needs of frequent customer centric, high quality and low-cost product delivery.

Industry standard qualifications in Project Management & Agile (i.e., CSM etc). Delivery: Strong Technology delivery skillset with an understanding of building digital journeys.

Storytelling with data: Strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences, and engineering team members.

Experience in the delivery of multiple technologies across the full end-to-end lifecycle of technology delivery from ideation through to market launch.

Have experience in using Programme and Portfolio Management tools such as JIRA, Jira Align and Confluence.
