Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Farm King, you will manage the service, warranty, training, product set up and publications functions for the Farm King Division products.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

●  Oversee successful dealer service parts support

●  Oversea dealer service support in terms of product set up, warranty, service campaigns etc.

●  Oversee warranty, training, and technical publications functions

●  Establish and manage internal and external product set up agreements

●  Develop, maintain, and communicate product assembly procedures

●  Develop a quality audit process for Set Up yards

●  Create and maintain set up, service, and warranty policies

●  Create, maintain, and initiate product recall campaigns to completion as required

●  Create and implement innovative programs to engage and support dealers in service and repair

●  Create diagnostic process and troubleshooting guide for products

●  Work with Quality Assurance department to identify and correct quality related issues

●  Develop and manage an annual budget

●  Analyze and report on setup, warranty, publications, and training

●  Analyze warranty to develop and implement vendor recovery program

●  Work with engineering to enhance product

●  Work with the Territory Managers in all aspects related to set up, service, and warranty

●  Visit dealers to establish and enhance service, parts and warranty support

●  Detailed involvement in the planning and management of Service parts inventory, sales, slow moving and obsolete items clearance, and maintenance of the inventory control system

●  Oversee warehouses assuring a safe working environment and compliance to all Buhler safety procedures, and assuring shipments leave on time and in an economical matter

●  Oversee ordering of Service Parts based on historical sales, and stocking recommendations & direct the procurement of common parts with production

●  Manage the technical analyst team responsible for the dealer web based ordering entry system

●  Produce performance reports such as on time shipments, fill rates and stock status

●  Post-secondary education preferred

●  Five (5) or more years of experience in a Aftersales position

●  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and administrative capacities

●  General mechanical background

●  Energetic individual, with the ability to multi task in a fast paced remote team environment

●  Ability to read and create design drawings, schematics, and technical literature

●  Proven managerial and customer service skills

●  Ability to work with minimal supervision

●  Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes

●  High attention to detail

●  Competent and efficient use of Microsoft Office products

●  AS400 and MAPICS browser experience considered an asset
