The Christchurch After Hours Veterinary Clinic has a unique opportunity for a Receptionist to join the team. We are an emergency veterinary facility servicing over 40 shareholder clinics throughout the Christchurch and Canterbury region.  We are open nights, weekends and public holidays. We provide emergency and critical care veterinary medicine to Canterbury pets.  We have recently relocated into a purpose built fully equipped clinic .

We are looking for someone who can multi-task, is organized, shows excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can work well under pressure in situations where emotions can run high.  Having the ability to deal with distressed and wounded animals and their owners is essential, along with showing attention to detail and being able to use your initiative. 

Being proficient in Microsoft is essential,  it would be desirable to have a knowledge of Vision.

We are open Weeknights from 7pm  â€“ 8am and are open 24 hours weekends and public holidays.  You would be rostered on a rotational shift over a 4 week period and hours would be between 20-30 hours per week.
