The primary purpose of the Chemical and Microbiological Assurance team is to develop and implement monitoring programmes for food and food related products in New Zealand which verify that the regulatory standards and other controls on the levels of residues and contaminants in food are providing the required outcomes.
You will provide strong administrative support for the programmes that are in place to verify that regulatory outcomes are being met in the chemical and microbiological monitoring area.
You will develop specific technical knowledge and experience to provide a contribution to the team and food safety, public confidence and the economic wellbeing of New Zealand.

This role is based in Wellington, some domestic travel may be required.
Salary range for the role of Adviser is $67,764 to $91,681 depending on skills and experience
