This is an opportunity to work in a high profile and challenging area. You will be working across MPI's systems to source the right information and then find the best and most appropriate channels to share this information with our primary sector stakeholder groups.

As an Adviser, you will:

• Provide expert advice and assistance to internal stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships across the business unit and MPI;
• Keep track of and manage the queries from stakeholders on Covid and supply chain issues;
• Support the secretariat of MPI's Supply Chain Forum group by managing communication and invites, drafting agendas, and minutes for the meetings;
• Support the business unit with regular communications to stakeholders on issues arising in the supply chain and with Covid that they will need to consider in their business planning.

The successful applicant will have:

• A tertiary level qualification relating to a relevant area and/or relevant experience in a related field

• Experience implementing and managing processes and projects at a business unit level in a fast-paced and high profile environment
• Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across government and industry, including Māori stakeholders

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• A strong track record of achievement of results.

You will be working in the Covid Recovery and Supply Chain team in the AIS Business Unit. The team is responsible for ensuring timely information is provided to stakeholders, and Covid and supply chain challenges are identified and shared across stakeholders, MPI and Government as required.
