Although a chiropractic assistant handles many roles and responsibilities that fall under the receptionist category, a Chiropractic Assistant is much more than that. They are responsible for all office communication, directing patients, booking appointments, keeping all practitioners on time, and explaining and maintaining office policies, but they are also there to lead by example, live well and promote a wellness lifestyle to their clients. Through employment, CAs develop their knowledge on various wellness practices and always strive to help our patients meet and exceed their wellness goals. As a Chiropractic Assistant in a busy and growing clinic environment, you must have the ability to multi-task and function in a high-stress environment. Clear communication and the capacity to relay the correct information to patients, practitioners, and other team members will be essential to your role. As a central part of the team, we are looking for someone positive who can take on new challenges and grow with our clinic.

Job Requirements:

  • Understand and explain the benefits of a wellness lifestyle to clients
  • Deliver exceptional patient experience and promote an open environment where patients and staff are able to communicate concerns and questions openly
  • Process payments for various practitioners, patients and services rendered
  • Maintain product stock and organization of the storage room
  • Maintain the office filing system (you must know your alphabet)
  • Manage the flow of patients at the front desk and direct individuals to the correct rooms
  • Make sure the office and clinic practitioners are prepared for their shifts and rooms are set up for the days appointments
  • Book patient treatment plans, reschedule within our office policies and keep patients on track with their therapy plans
  • Utilize strong verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual and have own transportation
  • Local candidate an asset
  • Multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Ability to draft and edit documents, letters, emails and other inquiries
  • Familiarity with social media (we are active on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest) is a must
  • Strong writing skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • You must be a team player willing to take on additional roles and challenges as they arise
  • Must be able to handle stress well, cope with changing office policies and schedules
  • Available to work shift work (mornings, evenings and some weekends)
  • Regular shifts are Monday to Thursdays (morning and evening) and some Saturdays
  • Ability to come in on off hours to complete extra tasks when needed
  • Ability to do shift work and work double shifts as needed
  • Availability for all shifts is required
  • Must have a HUGE HEART!

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Aweber (email newsletter program)
  • Insight Millennium
  • ChiroSight/Imasight X-Ray
  • Social Media Experience/SEO Knowledge
  • Atlas Chiropractic Management

Experience in a Chiropractic or Wellness-based field, as well as knowledge of the above programs, will be an asset but is not required for this position. This is an entry-level position, however, we are seeking an individual with specific qualities, skills, and knowledge base. There is a mandatory training period where we will train you in our office programs, policies, and procedures prior to starting work. We are looking to fill this position with a permanent, long-term individual

To keep our assistants safe, we have installed plexiglass barriers at the front desk and we also provide surgical grade masks and gloves if needed. We have hand sanitizer, hand washing station, disinfecting and cleaning regularly.
