About the business and the role

We are a very successful accounting firm but a lot more interesting and exciting than any accounting firm you may have worked for.  This role is varied and interesting with plenty of opportunity to develop and refine your skills.  It's a very busy and dynamic role so you won't get bored but it shouldn't require much overtime either due to efficient systems we have in place.

We are expecting a large number of applications and interviews for this role.  It would be very helpful if you could supply a profile photo to help us keep track of who's who if you get to the interview stage.  How you look in the photo has no impact on whether you get interviewed etc so any photo will do so long as it is clearly recognisable as you.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Training will be providing but tasks may include:

  • Answer phones and other reception work when required
  • Greet clients and ensure they complete the necessary forms
  • Book clients in for meetings and communicate reminders for these
  • Educate clients on compliance requirements and assist them to become compliant
  • Liaise with clients to obtain missing information from them
  • Liaise with the IRD and other third parties as required
  • Prepare documents and parcels for mail/courier
  • Phone clients who have expressed interest in our firm
  • Assist with organising and hosting client events in the office and occasionally at offsite venues;
  • General administration tasks

Skills and experience

Ideally someone with at least 1 years experience in a reception or administration role or where good customer service was required.

It is critical that the person we hire is very confident/friendly/bubbly/genuine on the phone and in person and understands how to make a client feel welcome.

Must be proficient and be comfortable with using the basic features MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
