Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

Kāinga Ora is a rapidly expanding organisation and we are constantly changing our technology to suit our users and business needs. We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our Wellington based Technology team.

As the Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ICT Operations and where necessary the wider Technology Group.

You will be responsible for handling a wider range of administrative tasks including diary and schedule management, expense claims, meeting coordination, document management, collating, compiling, formatting report and travel arrangements. You will also work with the wider team members in coordinating events, meetings and collaborative projects.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • High level of Outlook calendar management
  • High level of Meeting management - (booking multiple participants)
  • Email management and triage (high level)
  • Management of multiple Email Inboxes
  • Travel management
  • Juggling multiple tasks under pressure
  • Working with multiple teams

Ideally have the following:

  • Meeting minutes / taking Action Points
  • Previous IT Administration/Coordination experience
  • Interest in Technology

 
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Previous successful experience in an administration support role providing services to a manager and/or team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and highly-tuned interpersonal skills that will bring you success in relationship building
  • Proven organisational skills along with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy
  • A genuine commitment to providing a quality service to all customers, and a keen sense of purpose and direction
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis
  • Being adept in the use of MS Office, with experience of handling purchase orders, budgets, reporting and project coordination
