We are Wellington's leading design and build architects and renovation builders, delivering high-quality projects that are of great value to our clients. We provide service across all scales of projects to our clients, from changing a door handle to renovations over $1M in construction cost. About the role

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and energetic team member to play an integral role in our growing business.  We don't need quiet and shy, we need an upbeat self-starter, who can assist across the team, call clients about appointments and speak with a wide range of suppliers and clients.  We want someone who is proactive and is solution-driven, and fun to have around.  It is an administration/reception/project role/accounts entry, a little bit of everything that keeps the office running in a professional way. You must enjoy speaking with plenty of customers and feel rewarded for scheduling their projects. Able to keep their projects updated in our computer management system, and equally happy communicating with a wide range of subcontractors in our team who you will book in for our customers. A little bit old school in your attitude and sense of humour would help! We are a super fun office and team, located in the beautiful Woolstore in Thorndon with a terrific French café on our level!

 

It doesn't matter if you are a younger school leaver or more experienced. It's your attitude and willingness to get stuck in with our team culture that will make you succeed and be rewarded quickly and long term in this role.

Skills and experience

 

  • A passion for computer systems and developing value add solutions to our administration function
  • Excellent customer service skills, always upbeat.
  • High-level skills and experience with software such as Simpro (not necessary) and project management software (we use Builder trend) helpful
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable
  • Be an extremely organised and articulate multi-tasker
  • You must be accurate and have great problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including a large volume of clients and subcontractors.
  • Attention to detail
  • A proactive go-getter attitude
  • Super fun and enjoy working with a large team of cool people including designers, tradespeople and wide varied homeowners.
