Salary Range: $20.670 - $25.903 Hourly

Grade: SGEU.04.

The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.

Court Services Division is seeking a highly skilled, self-directed, organized team player to provide administrative support to the Court Services team. Reporting to the Director, Personnel Training and Support, you will perform duties such as:

  • assist with the timely preparation of necessary paperwork related to staffing, classification, commencements and leaves;
  • respond to email and telephone inquiries to the Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public Program and assist with testing changes to the system;
  • assist with tracking use of CVA vehicle, including vehicle maintenance;
  • create, edit and proof-read letters of offer, spreadsheets and other documents;
  • process Screening Exemption Identification;
  • process and track ITD service requests;
  • provide support to employees on the use of PSC Client;
  • maintain electronic and paper filing systems, which includes archive and dispose of records according to ARMS and ORS;
  • order and track office supplies; and
  • scan documents, open and distribute mail and other office duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is attentive to detail, has excellent time management and prioritization skills and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will also have effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide efficient and timely service to clients. To be successful, you will have knowledge of office administrative practices, procedures, and protocols and computer hardware and software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Typically, the knowledge and competencies required for this job would be obtained through a certificate or diploma in office education or administration with related work experience in an office setting.
