Te Arawhiti means ‘the bridge'. The name symbolises the bridge between MÄori and the Crown, the past and the future, and the journey from grievance to partnership. Te Arawhiti's kaupapa is to re-set, sustain and build the MÄori - Crown relationship towards true Treaty partnership by:
Settling historical Treaty of Waitangi claims; resolving longstanding and contemporary Treaty issues; engaging with MÄori on takutai moana, the marine and coastal area; upholding the Crown's Treaty settlement commitments; actively supporting Crown agencies to engage effectively with MÄori; putting the MÄori - Crown relationship at the heart of policy making; lifting public sector capability to work with MÄori; brokering MÄori - Crown partnerships; Partnering in Covid-19 response and recovery.
Te Arawhiti is looking to fill an Administration Support role with an individual who is wanting to stamp their mark on making the Crown a better Treaty partner.

You will be part of an Administration team for whom every day is different. You will use your sound knowledge of office processes, support and back-up to your Administration team members as required.

Salary Range: The remuneration band for this role is $48,397 to $59,039 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
