The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) directly supports approximately 800,000 people every year and reaches a further million people through local community-based programs.
About Wirrimbirra:
Under the Provider Readiness Framework, the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Western NSW District has established Wirrimbirra as a new entity to provide family preservation and early intervention services to Aboriginal families throughout the Western NSW.
Wirrimbirra has been co-designed with Aboriginal staff and will employ Aboriginal people from within local communities to provide culturally appropriate services to identified Aboriginal families with the goal of family preservation. The service is being funded under the Permanency Support Program (PSP) via Preservation Packages.
About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to provide front line services to the community from a local office . The role involves a range of client and administrative services that contribute to the effective delivery of quality services in a CSC.
About You
In the role you will support the service delivery of the unit's administrative functions and provide high quality service to our clients both in person and over the phone.
You will have a strong customer service background, attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills.
These are ongoing and temporary roles in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013
A Recruitment Pool will be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.

Salary range $66,298 pa - $72,077 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage as it is an essential requirement for this role. The roles have been identified as Aboriginal positions in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 (d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
The Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 requires persons engaged in children related work to have Working with Children clearances.
If successful in this role you will be required to provide a Working with Children Check clearance number before you start. To obtain further information and to apply for a WWCC clearance. Please .
Appointments are subject to reference checks and a National Criminal Record Check in accordance with DCJ policy and the Disability Inclusion Act 2014.
