Job Description

RNSH is seeking an experienced administrative assistant to support the Staffing team in Nursing and Midwifery Operations.

Where you'll be working

The Staffing office sits within Nursing and Midwifery Operations, which houses Staffing, Patient Flow, the Nurse Manager Workforce and the Deputy Director of Nursing.

What you'll be doing

Provide assistance in a range of nursing administrative and human resource related functions to the Nursing Unit Manager Staffing and Nurse Manager Workforce.

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 4

Remuneration: $1240.01 - $1269.89 per week

Hours Per Week: 38

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Holds a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, using innovation and a creative approach to problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated technical skills and competency in secretarial work, word processing and other systems including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), HealthRoster, ROB and Stafflink.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data, and develop meaningful reports around this data.
