flexhive is your temporary staffing agency. We are currently seeking Administration Assistants across NZ for temporary contracts across a wide range of industries.

Our clients in the commercial and public sectors are looking for administrators now with the possibility for extension.

Our Administration Assistant roles:

  • 5+ Administration Assistant live positions in Christchurch
  • Flexible temp contracts between a few days to ongoing
  • Temp to perm opportunities
  • Shifts between 4 to 8 hours a day
  • Hourly rate ranges between $22 to $25 upon experience
  • Easy to fill timesheet and on-time payment

Duties and responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Handle office tasks and other duties that support business operations
  • Operate a variety of data entry tasks, phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Prepare cash payment summaries, banking reports and bank statements if required
  • Report writing, collating and distributing documents
  • Provide supervision and support to less experienced Receptionists
  • May be involved in onboarding and orientation for new starters in the Client's office
  • Maintain an up-to-date level of knowledge about the Client's policies and procedures
  • Any other duties incidental to the above.


Your experience

  • Previous experience (min. 6 months) in Administration or Reception
  • Experience in a high paced environment
  • Have strong attention to detail, computer planning skills to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to communicate, written and verbally, clearly and effectively with all levels of internal staff and external clients
