We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join the Radiology team.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager for Radiology, you will be the key communication point between the administration team and the Service Manager, Clinical Director, the management team, the rest of the radiology service and the wider hospital. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday – Friday.

The Team leader will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the radiology service, co-ordinating the administrative teams to ensure patient scheduling for appointments is running smoothly and ensuring that the reception desks ( 4 of them) are covered and functioning well.

You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, integrity, initiative, attention to detail, strong organisational, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills as well as a great sense of humour. This is a busy and varied role in a department that is rapidly expanding.

This is a busy and demanding role and requires strong leadership and organisational skills.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role, preferably in health. You will have led a team and understand the basics of HR and people management.

Any additional training you may need will be provided.

Essential:

• 2-3+ years’ experience as a Team Leader or similar role
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent spoken and written communication
• Excellent computer skills
