Job Description

All NSW Health workers are required to have received two doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine as of 30 November 2021 OR have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to show proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status prior to securing this role.

What you'll be doing

To provide professional, competent and timely administrative and reception services to Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) Domestic Family Violence & Sexual Assault Services (DFV&SAS) to enable effective and high quality client-centred service delivery.

Although based in Wollongong, the position services teams across ISLHD.

SELECTION CRITERIA: * Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Previous experience working with vulnerable client groups from diverse backgrounds, with the ability to identify and respond to client needs at the point of initial contact with the service in a professional and respectful manner.

Ability to perform a broad range of administrative tasks and reception services alongside continuous quality improvement.

Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workload, including the ability to problem solve and prioritise competing demands.

Demonstrated understanding of the importance of maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality in a sensitive and complex clinical environment.

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

7Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, record management systems (eg. CHOC/eMR and TRIM)

Current NSW unrestricted NSW Class C Driver’s licence.
