Job Description
We are looking for a star - someone who has the ‘x’ factor to grow and develop within our Company.
This position is to assist in all general administration functions within our Company.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Greeting clients and visitors and managing incoming phone calls.
- Distribution of mail and phone messages.Word processing and general administration duties.
- Keeping common and staff areas clean.
- Filing of documentation related to project works.
- Printing, photocopying and binding as required by staff.
- Manage the petty cash float.Preparation of debtor invoices and recording thereof.
- Processing and payment of weekly wages to employees accurately and on time.
- Manage office and site stationery requirements.
- Involvement in the continuous improvement of and compliance with Company health and safety objectives.
- Any other activity as reasonably required from time to time.
- Maintaining staff details in Vault Health & Safety software platform.
- Input into Asset Tiger software used for tracking plant items.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and good in a team environment.
- Confident and trustworthy with a good work ethic and manner.
- High level of organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent keyboard skills.
- Good numeric, spelling and grammar ability.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.
- Experience with accounting and payroll software (currently use Intech).
