This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking for an opportunity to develop administrative experience and to work within an interesting and varied administrative role.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within an administrative role in a fast paced environment.  You will provide pro-active assistance to the administrative functions as well as the HR Co-ordinator including supporting all management, updating databases and systems. You will regularly liaise with departmental managers to ensure that operational administrative work is processed as efficiently as possible.

Initially reporting to the HR Coordinator and working closely with the hospital management team, you will organise your own workload to meet deadlines and expectations, using resources effectively and efficiently. It is essential that you are thorough, confident and have good attention to detail. Ability to work to strict deadlines and knowledge of IT systems is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To ensure that all documentation is of the highest standard.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with managers and all staff
  • To be responsible for ensuring operational and HR documentation are processed within agreed timescales.

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous administration (essential) and HR experience (desirable).
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Excellent computer skills (particularly MS Office packages).
