Job Description

Ontario Learning Development Foundation (OLDF) is a registered charity in Canada that performs training and educational services to youths, children, new immigrants and seniors. We are a non-profit organization with a mission to To transform our communities through integrated educational and community-response empowerment initiatives for children, youth, new immigrants and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients on a daily basis by phone or email in a professional and courteous manner
  • Be the “go-to” person by replying to general information requests with accurate information
  • Responding to client inquiries in a timely and responsive manner
  • Be proficient on a computer by preparing reports, memos and documents (forms) from scratch and maintain our filing system
  • Photocopy and fax documents
  • Research and enter data into spreadsheets
  • Coordinate office supplies and maintain office equipment
  • Perform other administrative tasks requested by management

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently without constant supervision
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint,) and the Internet
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy with strict adherence to policies and handling of confidential information
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work well independently
  • Excellent customer service orientation
