Accounts Payable – Fixed Term Temp
We are looking an Accounts Payable Officer to assist our Trans-Tasman team. This role will initially be for three months but maybe longer. The hours will generally be for 7.5 hours per day (or 37.5 hours for the week). You must be available on the standard working days Monday to Friday.  

You will need to have interpersonal skills, sense of humour and excellent communication skills.  You will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable function. This is a good role to gain experience and be part of a finance team.

This position is to start immediately and will be paying between $22 -$26 per hour depending on your level of experience.

Key Tasks:

• Coding.
• Payments, including both direct credits, cheques and overseas.
• Processing supplier invoices.
• Matching purchase orders against delivery dockets.
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Processing reconciliations including bank.
• Assisting in month end process.

To be successful you will have:

• Studying towards relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. BCom) with Accounting major.
• Good computer skills – MS Office & accurate data entry.
• Experience in using an ERP/Accounting system an advantage.
• Experience in Accounts Payable role an advantage.
• Good communications skills.
