ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER

We are looking for a self-starter demonstrating an energetic and conscientious attitude with strong interpersonal skills, being approachable / cooperative / positive. Have exceptional communication and listening skills, both written and oral. Be accurate and methodical with the ability to cope under pressure. Important to be motivated and focused on customer satisfaction and have the flexibility to develop and change to meet our changing business needs.

Key duties:

• Set up, admin, filing, recorder checking & processing of suppliers
• Supplier management, phone calls, emails etc.
• Reviewing Contracts & highlight concerns.
• Reconcile month end statements, bank accounts, cash flow
• Processing invoices & purchase orders
• Coding Purchase orders to jobs
• Checking and verifying Orders
• Managing, chasing, and updating Purchase Orders
• Completing supplier reconciliations
• Answering queries and completing payment runs
• Getting authorisations for manual invoices
• Manage contractor bills, temp staff timesheets, reconcile contractor expenses
• Secondary Payroll administrator - supporting Accountant / CFO where needed
• Process Credit cards & follow up outstanding PO’s

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience

• Currently be living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ (including work visas)
