As an Accounts Assistant in the Accounting to Report team of Finance Delivery, you will assist the Finance Analyst to account for UK&I Corporate costs and Property services, delivering accounting and reporting services to our Commercial Finance customers based in London, whilst embracing our culture of continuous improvement to ensure processes are efficient.

What you’ll do:

– Preparation of accruals and prepayments, providing insightful and accurate reporting
– Managing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, reconciling balances in line with Sky’s policies
– Produce monthly dashboard reports and perform analysis of departmental spend against budget
– Partner with our Commercial Finance team to deliver continuous improvement projects such as automation and standardisation
– Assisting with internal and external audit queries

What you’ll bring:

– Proven experience in a Finance General Ledger department with practical experience of basic accounting to include accruals and prepayments.
– Enthusiasm and desire to help deliver our continuous improvement programme, with an ability to challenge processes and suggest new solutions.
– Proficient in MS Office (Strong Excel Skills Are Essential)
