We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Accountant to join us!

The wider team is made up of 12 others and this role will have line management responsibility of 2 Accounts Assistants. We offer hybrid working which includes remote working 2 days a week, along with a collaborative office-based environment at our recently refurbished head office in Ripon, less than 5 miles from junction 50 of the A1.

The role sits within the Operational Accounting team, which manages all accounting entries and financial reporting for sales revenue, gross margin, marketing initiatives and customer loyalty schemes of the business.

Ideally, you are a newly qualified accountant who is looking for a new role that allows you to enhance your skillset. Alternatively, you may be an experienced finance professional with a significant amount of relevant experience or a part qualified individual near the end of your studies, looking for a new challenge.

Up for the challenge? Here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Part qualified or qualified accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA

• Previous management experience or capabilities to support and mentor 2 direct reports

• Takes clear ownership and responsibility for customer service and displays a consistent drive to enhance the customer experience
