Description

Our client, a leader in their industry, is in search for an Accountant to join their team. The Accountant will be responsible for full cycle accounting. This is a full time permanent role located in the Vaughan area. As the Accountant you will be responsible for;

• Accounts Receivable and Billing
• Following up with customers on past due payments and billing queries
• Maintaining Accounts Payable including issuing payments on a bi-weekly basis
• Processing bi weekly payroll including calculating commissions for under 25 employees
• Monthly bank account reconciliations
• FIling of government remittances; HST, WSIB
• Intercompany reconciliations and journal entries
• Cash flow management
• Prepare Year End financial for outside Accountant

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' full cycle accounting experience
• Degree/diploma in accounting or related
• Previous experience using ERP system highly desired
• Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel
• High attention to detail, accurate and possessing strong analytical skills
• Superior communication, customer service and problem solving skills
