Job Description

This position requires data technically savvy individual who wants to be a part of our global data expert team. The data expert team is responsible for the successful migration of data from third-party systems into IFS Business Software solutions IFS Cloud/IFS Applications for our customers.  This person will handle all data migration aspects for their assigned projects and will work closely with colleagues and customers, ensuring we deliver value to the customer through our projects.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Advising our customers on data migration from third-party systems to our IFS product suite
  • Analysis, conception and implementation of data transfer strategies and migrations
  • Support in data mapping
• Assesses the customer’s legacy data source(s) to determine quality issues, data gaps and alignment with IFS data constructs
• Makes data cleansing recommendations based on output of Data Assessment activities
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of data sequence, data dependencies, migration risks, and key data migration milestones throughout implementation of the Customer solution
• Participates in the strategy, analysis and design for a client’s data migration
• Demonstrates an understanding of performance considerations due to data volumes and time criticality of the migration process
• Active contact person for the customer and processing of inquiries and error messages
• Conducting trainings for our customers on IFS data migration methodology and tools
• Further development of the IFS methodology in the field of data migration

Qualifications Required

• Professional experience in the implementation and/or support of ERP business solutions
• Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Business or IT (or equivalent education or experience)
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL and data relations
• Good business process knowledge and high data affinity
• Strong analytical skills
• Familiar with ERP data migrations
• Experience with Oracle / SQL Server RDBMS and MS Azure Cloud
• Professional interaction with customers and ability to analyze customer requirements in a well-founded manner
• Experience with IFS Cloud/IFS Applications would be a benefit
