You will support the IT Commercial team to deliver on it’s commitments to value, focusing on ongoing supplier, licence, certificate, domain management and renewals via active engagement with cross functional teams and stakeholders of all levels.
The IT Commercial Ops team comprises Business Partners and specialists in Domain and Certificate management. We have a culture of supporting each other as a team and delivering excellence. About the role
The role of IT Commercial Analyst is to provide support for the IT Commercial Team, facing into defined technology/business units (including but not limited to Procurement, Finance, Service and Change).
With the support of your peers, you will be responsible for management of specific supplier engagements to ensure they deliver to both current and future business needs, reviewing spend and delivery alignment to defined outcomes.
You will contribute to an environment in which both TalkTalk and its suppliers collaborate to their mutual benefit, ensuring positive and effective working relationships are developed and maintained across the supply chain. You will engage suppliers to support the IT Commercial team with the pipeline of contract renewals.
You will be responsible for ensuring all such supplier engagements are professional whilst maintaining good relationships.
You will be responsible for supplier contract analysis, supplier performance, analysis of contractual responsibilities/deliverables, financial reporting/validation and the creation of contractual/financial documents into the relevant systems. You will work with stakeholders to document and report that the quality of the services delivered by suppliers meet contractual commitments and business needs.
You will by responsible for analysing and collating data and where necessary submitting as per process, in an accurate and timely manner. With support from the IT Commercial team you will represent the team at TalkTalk Group forums.
You will be responsible for reporting and communicating with the team and stakeholders of all levels to gather requirements and analyse budgetary implications of contract renewals.
You will have numerical and reporting skills alongside strong communication and influencing skills. You may have come from a relevant business, accounting, IT or similar based degree and have some industry experience in either contract management or financial reporting.
