The Bull Hotel is a busy 15th century coaching-inn situated in the West Dorset market town of Bridport. It has a thriving restaurant which is as popular with the locals as it is with hotel guests. The Bull also benefits from a lively cocktail bar, Georgian ballroom and 19 boutique style bedrooms. The food served here takes advantage of our fantastic location just a mile from the awesome Jurassic coast, and so has is a strong emphasis on fresh seafood. The dining atmosphere is relaxed, we have a bar area and outdoor seating in our beautiful courtyard. Bridport has a strong arts culture, music scene and food heritage.
As our new Head Chef, you’ll lead our kitchen team in the creation of fabulous, fresh dishes – using your culinary magic to give customers a special pub-dining experience.
You’ll be working with seasonal, local and regional ingredients, in a well-equipped kitchen – within a company that really understands the importance of getting food right.
Here at Fuller’s we like to listen to our teams and recently we were asked by this pub kitchen if they can change their kitchen rota and have 3 days off a week – we were more than happy to oblige.
All our full-time kitchen team now work their normal hours over 4 days and take 3 full days off a week, meaning more down time and more family time…..and therefore happier chefs!

Looking after the kitchen however is your domain. You’ll lead your team expertly through service, and you’ll take full control of the food side of the business.
